Julia Stiles, formerly one of Hollywood’s most well-known actors, has conceded that she may never be a famous face in the industry again.

Julia Stiles has been pushed to the margins of mainstream Hollywood since the success of her 1999 picture 10 Things I Hate About You. “I felt like I was jumping from job to job that I wasn’t attached to, and I was frightened about where my career was going,” Stiles said in 2019. “I believed a few years ago, and my problem was that no one knew what to do with me.” I had some success in my twenties, but now I’m at a crossroads, and I’m not sure where I belong.”
Stiles, Heath Ledger, and even Joseph Gordon-Levitt rose to prominence in the high school rom-com based partly on The Taming of the Shrew. Following that, he worked on The Dark Knight, his final film until his untimely death in 2008. On the other hand, Stiles was falling out of favor in Hollywood.

Fans expected Julie Stiles’ career to take off when she became well-known in 2000. She appeared in three films in 2000 and four more in 2001, including a Saturday Night Live cameo. Stiles’ work, however, was less well-known than Ledger’s. Is it true that Stiles stopped participating in big-budget movies, or did mainstream Hollywood simply lose interest in her?

Julia Stiles was initially thought to be the “it” actress. Julia, on the other hand, didn’t feature in as many big-budget films as she used to after a string of box-office disappointments and a transfer to Broadway.

Despite her efforts to reestablish herself in Hollywood, Stiles was no longer in the good graces of directors and took a break from acting to raise a child. Julia was cast as the lead in the famous show Riviera after giving birth to her first kid, Strummer Cook.

Julia quickly returned to the spotlight, winning roles in Jennifer Lopez’s The God Committee and Hustlers.
On February 20, 2022, Julia Stiles announced the birth of Arlo, her second child, in early 2022.
She made her initial pregnancy announcement while walking the red carpet at the Humans film premiere a few months ago.

Stiles will undoubtedly take a break from acting to recover from childbirth and spend time with her family, but she will not be gone long. “Having my attention focused on my baby has made me a better performer since I don’t come home every night fretting about every tiny part,” the actress revealed after the birth of her first child.

Fans may be confident that Stiles will not leave her lucrative acting profession anytime soon, even though she is unlikely to return to work.
After 10 Things I Hate You, Stiles went on to star in Save the Last Dance with Sean Patrick Thomas and Kerry Washington, Down to You with Freddy Prinze Jr., and A Guy Thing with Jason Lee.

Even though Stiles’ prior films from the 2000s did poorly at the box office, Save the Last Dance did well. On Rotten Tomatoes, Down to You received negative feedback for its “terrible script” and “bland, by-the-numbers narrative.” “A Guy Thing” failed to recoup its production expenditures at the box office.

Stiles came to popularity with the Jason Bourne films, but her portrayal of Nicky was insufficient to reestablish her in Hollywood’s upper crust. Stiles began working on several unconventional projects as a consequence in 2003.
After making one final appearance in Jason Bourne in 2016, Stiles was cast as Georgina Clios in Riviera, a British television series that premiered on Sky Atlantic. The show was so popular that it premiered in 2019 on the American channel Ovation.

Although Riviera is not widely recognised in the United States, many fans believe it would garner a larger audience if made available on more streaming platforms. Despite this, it has a sizable fan base in the UK, and iNews UK called it one of the “top TV drama series to watch in Autumn 2020.”

Stiles appeared alongside Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Lili Reinhart, and Keke Palmer in the 2019 film Hustlers.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stiles approached director Lorene Scafaria about a role in the film. As a result, Stiles was offered the role of journalist Elizabeth, a role she did not take lightly.
