On the one-year anniversary of her breast reduction surgery, the Sister Wives actress, 21, published a photo of the final results.

She posted a black bikini selfie by the pool and a second mirror selfie in which she smiles and flashes her smaller breasts while wearing an orange sports bra in the Instagram carousel that she shared on Thursday.

She captioned the images, “happy breast reduction anniversary.”. I had anti-boob surgery on July 11, 2022, so technically yesterday was the anniversary, but who’s counting?

Sister Wives' Star Gwendlyn Brown Shares Before and After Photos of Breast Reduction Surgery

Brown shared her full experience having the surgery in an accompanying YouTube video, saying that she had wanted to have it done to increase her confidence and help with the health of her spine.

She claimed that it took her about a year after making the decision to have the procedure done before she actually followed through. She was required to obtain letters of recommendation from both her plastic surgeon and her chiropractor, who both stated that the procedure was “medically necessary” and that she needed it done to prevent further deterioration of her spine and posture. ”.

The surgery, which lasted about five hours, was attended by Brown’s mother, according to Brown. After “tracing some lines” on her body where the incisions would be made, her plastic surgeon wheeled her into the operating room, where they fastened her arms and put the anesthesia mask on her face.

I’m going to die here, I was telling myself, she recalled. “I was in a panic, my heart was pounding, and then I passed out. ”.

She claimed that following the procedure, she awoke in a wheelchair, and that her mother pushed her back to the car. She used a breathing machine to “help my body get back to normal” and took painkillers prescribed by her doctor during the following few days. She also had to wear a compression bra to aid in post-surgery healing. ”.

Recalling the challenging healing process, she said, “I had this terrible pain in my scars or my open wounds at the time, and there was nothing I could do about it. It gave off the impression of being pressed down on bruises all the time. I felt awful, awful. ”.

When the bandages were removed a few weeks later, she was able to resume her regular daily activities, but she acknowledged that she struggled with them. Thankfully, she had her family and fiancée Beatriz Queiroz there as a “full service team” during this time.

She admitted that she still has scars from the procedure, but she was “very happy” with the outcome.

One of the wisest choices I’ve ever made is this. She continued, “I don’t regret it. To no longer experience constant sexual harassment or teasing is a wonderful feeling. ”.
