The organization’s staff were shocked to see his condition. The Weimaraner mix, now named Alex, was on the verge of starvation and could barely move.
They rushed him to the Vermilion Parish Animal Rabies Control Center in New Orleans, where he received proper treatment. Then, an X-ray examination revealed something very surprising.

When she first accepted him, she thought it was only a temporary solution for Alex. However, over time their bond grew stronger and Diana knew she had to adopt him.
While she was with her his weight increased rapidly and his mood changed rapidly. In just a few weeks, he went from a depressed street dog to a happy and playful dog.
