When Patricia Clarke discovered that she was expecting back in 1983, she had a hunch that her baby would be on the larger side. Little did she know just how colossal he would turn out to be.
Truly making a grand entrance into the world, Patricia gave birth to Kevin Robert Clark, a baby weighing over a whopping 16 pounds. Not only did he grab the title of the heaviest baby ever born at Community Memorial Hospital, but he also captured nationwide attention, making headlines coast to coast. His remarkable size even became the inspiration for a segment on “Saturday Night Live” and caught the eye of “Good Morning America.”
But Kevin’s journey was only beginning. As he grew older, he continued to rise head and shoulders above his peers. By the tender age of 12, he stood tall at 5 feet 7 inches, and by the time he reached junior high, he had already towered to 6 foot 5. Today, at 35 years old, Kevin stands an extraordinary 6 feet 9 inches tall.
Despite his towering stature, Kevin has embraced his uniqueness with a delightful sense of humor. When people ask about his height, he often playfully responds that he’s “5-foot-21” and cheekily wonders if they’re a fan of miniature golf when they inquire if he plays basketball. Kevin has learned to embrace his size and has even found love with a 6-foot-tall wife and a Great Dane.
Living in the spotlight since birth hasn’t always been easy, but Kevin handles it with grace. He continues to live life on his own terms, refusing to let his size define him. We wish him all the happiness and success in his future endeavors!
