Kyle Jacobs, Kellie Pickler’s husband, committed suicide, according to TMZ. When the former “American Idol” contestant awoke at the couple’s Nashville, Tennessee, home, she saw her hubby wasn’t in bed, according to police.

When she couldn’t open an upstairs door, she began exploring the home for him, worried that something had happened. Pickler contacted 911, and emergency personnel was sent to the house where Jacobs’ body was. He was 49 years old.

Pickler and Jacobs enjoy a private life in Nashville. She said, “I’m such a simple girl,” according to the insider. “I like gardening.

“I’m known as the sixth unofficial Golden Girl by my pals. I’m that 104-year-old trapped in a 35-year-old body. Sudoku is my favorite game. I appreciate exciting discussions. On the front porch, I adore swinging back and forth. I like being around kind people,” she added. Pickler and Jacobs married in 2011, but they never had children together.

Kyle Jacobs was an accomplished songwriter who sang and played the piano and guitar. Kellie Pickler raved about her spouse in 2015, stating, “He is so brilliant at what he does.” They had worked together numerous times since they initially met.

“Working with Kyle has been wonderful, and I’m beyond pleased to be in the studio once more recording a new album. “It was amazing to be in the front row as an artist and see him in his element because he’s been seeing me play for years,” Pickler added.

Kelly Clarkson, a former American Idol contestant, and Tim McGraw were two of the most famous country music performers with whom Jacobs collaborated and wrote songs. Garth Brooks’ “More Than a Memory” hit No. 1 on the Billboard chart in 2007, giving Jacobs his first No. 1 hit.

In 2014, the talented composer was awarded an Academy of Country Music Award for composing and producing Lee Brice’s 2012 smash song “I Drive Your Truck.” Although the notoriety and success were amazing, Jacobs never lost sight of the importance of writing music that affected people’s emotions.

“Creating songs with lovely hearts in beautiful places is one of my favorite things to do as a songwriter,” he said in a 2021 Instagram post.

Fans are still hunting for indications that Kyle Jacobs had a terrible life, as the music industry mourns the songwriter’s tragic death. Yet, none appear to be present.

On the other hand, Jacobs’ social media posts frequently showed him to be optimistic. Not unlike his most recent Instagram post. Only one day before his unexpected death, Jacobs sent a message highlighting a huge accomplishment for the album he produced, “Hello World,” Lee Brice’s fifth studio album.

“Platinum?! SWEEEET!!! “This one was created by an exceptional team of incredibly creative individuals,” he wrote in the caption. “I am quite grateful to have contributed in whatever manner… Jesus, God bless you!”

Jacobs also displayed his impressive Spotify Wrapped numbers in December 2022, revealing that he had amassed over 46 million streams and 8 million listeners through some of his creative credits.

“It’s remarkable how a song written in a modest place on Music Row can reach many people. I’m now feeling quite blessed… “Thank you, Lord,” he wrote.

Even though Kellie Pickler and Kyle Jacobs kept their marriage a secret, they shared many happy experiences. For example, when the duo first met in the early 2000s, Jacobs wanted to impress Pickler with his accomplishments, so when it came time to introduce himself, he said:

“Hello, my name is Kyle. “I compose music.” Pickler, on the other hand, was generally underwhelmed. Thus, the plan did not proceed as well as he had intended. Yet it didn’t take long for the two to start working together and, better yet, fall in love.

After several years of dating, Jacobs proposed on June 15, 2010, which the “Tough” singer considers one of her most memorable days. She remembered the proposal from a 2017 Instagram post:

“We watched the sunset gently paint a colorful ending to a lovely day after Kyle got down on one knee and I screamed ‘YES!!!’” Pickler and Jacobs tied the knot in Antigua during a beach ceremony.

“When two people marry, the wedding is not about the glamour. That applies to both the bride and husband and God.” Pickler told at the time. “I can’t think of a term that describes how lovely it was,” she remarked, “with only ourselves, God, and our pastor present.”
