Dogs deserve the best. They are a symbol of our friendship and kindness and are always there when we need them. Sometimes people take this for granted and think they can abuse their dogs even when they don’t deserve it.
Dogs need patience, care and lots of love and attention. If someone close to you cannot provide you with a puppy, it may be a good idea to refuse to adopt a puppy.
In this story, I will give an example of such abuse. This dog was abandoned by his family and had to fend for himself in the rainy weather.

When animal rescuer Suzette Hall received an alert about a small dog seeking refuge in her neighborhood, she knew she had to do something to help the pup. She understood the puppy because she too had similar problems with the floods in Southern California and was now looking for a new home.
“I felt like I had nowhere to go that day,” Hall told The Dodo. Hall, founder of Logan’s Legacy Dog Rescue. Then I got a message about a dog. Neighbors said they found the dog a few days ago. He may have been abandoned by his family and left on the streets. Frightened by the constant rain, he looked for a place to stay.
Hall kept saying, “Let me in!” As he said, he went up and scratched at the door. When no one answered, he sat trembling.
A rescue operation is underway.

Before helping her, he wanted to make sure who the dog really belonged to, so he posted it online, but no one responded.
When he finally found him, he found that the dog was very angry and would not interact with him in any way. She tried to lure him in with a food trap, so she left him some treats in the hope that he would eat them, but that only scared the dog even more.
When that didn’t work, he tried talking to the dog. He said: “I was so scared of being trapped that I sat down next to him and talked to him. I told him I understood how he felt. I said, “Now I don’t have a house either.”
Surprisingly, it worked. The puppy relaxed and I was able to get close enough to pet him. He gave her some pets and then took her to his truck where the dogs fell asleep.

He was rushed to the vet, who revived him. The only problem left was his coat to deal with.
They took her to the bridegroom, who cut her bread and made her beautiful again. Now, Nicky the dog is finally ready to move to a new foster home as he awaits adoption.
Hall said: He’s one of those dogs that everyone likes right away. He is so sweet and doesn’t bark!
To this day, Nikki is waiting for a new family in her foster home, and until she finds one, Hall and his team will continue to show her the love she deserves.
