Blake Shelton paid a touching tribute to his wife on Instagram over the weekend, congratulating her on the first anniversary of her cosmetics company GXVE. Although the couple have been apart while the country singer is on tour, Gwen Stefani is never far from his thoughts. Congratulations on a year of @gxvebeauty, @gwenstefani, he said. I am so proud of you because I know how long you’ve been working on this, and you are a woman of many, many, many talents.
With a “thank you, Blakeslee” and a heart-shaped emoji, Gwen was one of the first to respond to her husband’s touching post. Fans quickly expressed their opinions, with one saying, “Stop, this is so nice,” and another, “Sweetest most supportive husband award goes to you. The best husband ever, a third person exclaimed. Blake recently acknowledged that he misses his wife while on his Back to the Honky Tonk tour, which is currently underway.
He acknowledged the current long-distance situation is “awful” in a backstage interview with Entertainment Tonight in Birmingham, Alabama. He said, “I regret not being there; they’re having big storms back in California right now. The singer said adorably, “Not that anything bad is happening, but I know they’re kind of scared out, and it’d be good to be home.”.
In spite of how much fun he is having returning to the road, he explained that he usually tries to keep the tour as brief as possible to spend as little time away from Gwen and his stepsons, which is why he, too, chose to leave The Voice.
He said, “I try to minimize it as much as I can because the whole reason I’m leaving The Voice is so I can just be there more, and that’s what I’m going to do. Blake and Gwen first met in 2014 while competing on The Voice, and they began dating in 2015. In July 2021, the couple got hitched, a year after becoming engaged during a lockdown.
