Curry, who was born on April 19th, 1946, has thrived in a fiercely competitive field for many years thanks to his talent and work ethic. In fact, the It actor continued to regularly appear in stage, TV, and film productions up until 2012, adding to his already impressive resume of accomplishments. However, tragedy struck just over ten years ago when the British-born star had a serious health issue that changed his life and left him crippled and unable to even move around, let alone perform.
Today, Curry recently celebrated his 77th birthday at his Los Angeles home, where he leads a quiet and contented life away from the spotlight.

With over 40 years of acting experience, the English actor and singer began his journey to Hollywood on the stage. Curry kept working in both movies and theater after making a splash with Rocky Horror Picture Show. Tim rejected the idea of the Rocky Horror Shows His Heels sequel being filmed in 1979. By that time, he had improved his vocal abilities through album releases, tours, and regular performances on Broadway, in TV shows, and in movies. The actor and singer had to endure years of physical and speech therapy as a result of the stroke. Tim was certain he would survive even though it drastically altered his life. The 69-year-old actor said in 2015 to Los Angeles Magazine, “I’m doing well and I’m looking forward to it.”. “I’ve performed at a few benefits for the Actors Fund, and I think it’s a fantastic organization. I’m hoping I won’t need to use it. ”.
