“Today is World Kidney Day.”. Because kidney failure occurs without symptoms, it is crucial. Give your kidneys some love today; they deserve it, which is why I’m telling you this. Because I didn’t realize that my high blood pressure should have been treated with conventional medicine, my kidneys suffered, Turner wrote in the caption. “By denying the fact that I require daily, lifelong therapy combined with medication, I have put myself in grave danger. I believed for far too long that my body was a bastion that was impenetrable and unbreakable,” the singer continued. She directed admirers to a website where they could read more about Tina Turner’s story of kidney donation and dialysis by her husband Erwin Bach.

Turner’s health issues have been extensively covered due to her status as a prominent celebrity. Following her marriage to Bach in 2013, the singer experienced a stroke.

His wife was equally astounded by the kidney donation he made. In a later statement, she wrote, “I wondered if anyone would think that Erwin’s living donation was transactional in any way.”. Amazingly, despite the length of our relationship, some people insisted that Erwin wed me so that he could benefit from my fame and fortune. Erin always disregarded the rumors, asking herself what else a younger man would want with an older woman.
However, her representatives claim that natural causes were ultimately what killed her.
At the age of 83, she died peacefully in her sleep from a natural cause.
