Never enjoy living next to noisy neighbors.
So that she can tell you everything about her noisy neighbors, Cilla Carden has them. She dragged them before Australia’s Supreme Court because she didn’t like them.
The massage therapist from Perth, Australia, filed a lawsuit against her neighbors because she claimed she was unable to use her backyard due to their constant use of their BBQ and basketball games.
“It’s been devastating, it’s been turmoil, it’s been unrest, and I haven’t been able to sleep,” Carden said to 9News in 2019. ”.
Carden, a vegan, has been complaining about her neighbor’s smoking and barbecuing for months. She also shared her thoughts on the young people shooting hoops.
She explained, “They put it there, so all I smell is fish.”. I’m unable to use my backyard because I can’t go outside. ”.
She filed a lawsuit against her neighbors because it became so problematic. She made an attempt to appeal to the Supreme Court after having her claims rejected, but she was also turned down.
I told the courts it’s intentional, Carden said. ”.
Her neighbor, though, is confident that they have come up with a practical solution. A barbeque had been taken away and the kids had been told to stop playing basketball when 9News allegedly went to the defendant’s backyard.
Following the odd court battle announcement, a Facebook event for a neighborhood barbecue was created to let Carden know she couldn’t “destroy a good old Aussie tradition.”. ”.
Police did issue a warning after the occasion, which attracted 24,000 people, and Carden’s lawyer threatened legal action. The picnic was pushed back.
Despite the fact that Carden’s actions and complaints have led some to believe that she is opposed to people eating meat, her attorney insists that she has “no objection to people eating meat and no objection to people having barbecues.”. ”.
Do you agree with Cilla Carden’s decision to bring legal action against her neighbors?
