The owners of the local bike shops gave Prince Archie a bike with training wheels and some flowers for Meghan.
The owner of the local shop personally delivered a bike to Prince Archie for his fourth birthday.
As the world awoke on May 6 and prepared to witness King Charles’ coronation, the owners of Mad Dogs and Englishmen Bike Shop in Montecito, California, were thinking about Prince Archie.
Jennifer Blevins, the company’s owner, reported that British co-owner Martin chose to give Archie, the son of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, a special birthday present.
According to Blevins, “He went and picked up one of our tiny, specially designed children’s bikes, which are really adorable little bikes, and he said, “This one’s ideal, it’s got training wheels.”. ’”.
He then said, “Okay, I’m going to bike over and take it to their house,” after going to get some birthday balloons, flowers for Meghan, and a card.
Security asked Martin if he had a royal invitation as they emerged from behind the home’s gate when Martin arrived, according to Blevins.
He said, ‘I’m just a British business in town that wanted to give Archie a gift,'” Blevins said with a chuckle. ’”.
After security checked Martin’s background on-site, according to Blevins, Martin was given permission to leave the gift of flowers, a card, balloons, and a bike. After a month had passed, she recalled receiving an unexpected delivery at the shop on Wednesday.
“A courier came by our little shop on Coast Village Road and he dropped off that letter,” she said, referring to a thank-you note from Harry and Meghan.
I had jokingly predicted that a thank-you note would be there, said Blevins.
It was so considerate because, you know, they took the time to write a personal note rather than just a standard thank you, she said.
On the bike shop’s Instagram, Harrison Colcord from the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle office posted the letter.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan, would like to express their sincere gratitude for the thoughtful gift you sent to Prince Archie for his fourth birthday. The bike is a huge source of joy for the family, who adore it. They asked me to convey to them how grateful they were for the pleasant surprise. ”.
Blevins claimed that the wonderful note astounded her, Martin, and the entire staff of the bike shop. It was a “very sincere” and “impromptu” gesture to give Archie the bike, and nobody expected anything in return.
She recalled, “We’ve sold bikes to every celebrity in that town, and they all go through that town. None of them sent a letter of appreciation. ”.
Blevins and Martin claim that they want the gift to have a significant impact on the family.
