One day, Carol Howarth of Haverfordwest, UK, parked her car to go shopping, but when she came back, she found that hundreds of uninvited guests had attacked her vehicle.

On the back of her car was a full swarm.

The scene surprised a local named Tom Moses.

“It was a true spectacle. I saw a big group of people taking pictures as I was driving there.
I had some reservations, though.
“.

The car was right in front of a bar, so I was worried that someone would do something stupid like throw hot water on them. “.

“Everything could go horribly wrong. So Tom picked up the phone and called the beekeepers’ number. They were finally able to pack them all inside a box.

Carol, on the other hand, will only have her car for a short while: “The next day I noticed that the bees had followed me home!” It was now her responsibility to get in touch with the beekeepers.

One of them, Roger Burns, said, “We think the queen was attracted to something in the car, probably something sweet.”.

Then she got caught in some plastic of the car. She was followed by a swarm of about 2,000 bees, who gathered on the car.

The queen was eventually set free by the beekeepers, after which she went back to her house.

Bees typically follow their queen, say the beekeepers, so it is unusual that they followed a car for two days in a row.
