Australian singer and actor Johnny Ruffo has died tragically at the age of 35.
The late entertainer rose to fame as a finalist on The Show’s third season. In 2017, Johnny underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor and was diagnosed with brain cancer a week later.
Sadly, he lost his battle with cancer on Friday (November 10), his family said in a statement. The statement continued:
“It is with a heavy heart that today we had to farewell our beloved Johnny. Surrounded by his partner Tahnee and family, Johnny went peacefully with the support of some incredible Nurses & Doctors,” the family said.
“He was a very talented boy, charming and sometimes naughty. Johnny was very brave and strong. He fought as hard as he could until the end. Such a beautiful soul has a lot to offer. We all love you Johnny and will remember you for all the joy you brought to our lives. Rest in peace.”
Our thoughts and condolences go out to Johnny’s loved ones during this difficult time.
