Celine’s life was enriched by the presence of someone who believed in her more than anybody else.

René Angelil is the person in question. He was Celine’s manager before becoming her husband. René sold his house to help Celine record her first album.
Celine was 12 when they first met, and they married in 1991 when Celine was 23. Even though René was 26 years older, the two married in 1994.

René died in 2016 as a result of neck cancer. Celine stayed by her husband’s side until the last end.

Celine and René desired another child, so they went to IVF.
After seven miscarriages, the couple announced that Celine was expecting twins. Eddy and Nelson were the names of the two sons.

Eddy is named after Celine’s favourite French songwriter, Eddy Marnay, while Nelson is named after former South African President Nelson Mandela.

The lads have grown up and are now healthy.

Celine Dion is overjoyed and proud of her three sons. She is currently unmarried and raises her children on her own.
She stated that losing their father was extremely tough on the boys, especially Eddy and Nelson, who were relatively minor at the time of the unfortunate tragedy. Fortunately, the entire family recovered from this experience. They realised that their father loved them and would always be there for them and that they must live happily ever after. The singer frequently shows images of her babies and says she adores them and that they make her life complete.

Isn’t their family wonderful?
