According to his representative, Aaron Carter, the musician and brother of Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, died at the age of 34.
The American singer had a successful solo career, released multiple albums while still a child, and acted as the boy band’s opening act on several tours and engagements.
According to initial reports, the former singer-turned-rapper was discovered dead at his California home on Saturday, November 5. Furthermore, Aaron’s body was found in his bathtub, according to TMZ.
“We’re as heartbroken as everyone else,” they said, “and we hope fans will offer their prayers and thoughts to his family.”
The Lancaster, California, police department and the Los Angeles County police department both confirmed that officials discovered a body at Carter’s home at 4200 LA Vista Drive on Saturday.
