A woman with a solemn expression and simple clothing walked into the grocery store. She timidly approached the owner and asked if she could take some items home with the understanding that she would pay later.

As she described her challenging circumstances—her husband was seriously ill and unable to work, leaving her to care for their seven children while struggling to make ends meet—her voice trembled.

The store owner was unimpressed by her suffering and ordered his security guards to remove her from the building. She pleaded for his pardon nonetheless, promising to pay him back as soon as possible.

A nearby customer overheard their conversation and watched the terrible event take place in front of them.

A woman dressed simply and with a sad face, entered a supermarket!

The customer asked the shop owner if he and his wife could shop together, but he was ignored. The shop assistant responded by approaching the customer and requesting a list of the items they needed.

She gave a positive response and was instructed to put her list on the scales.

She hesitantly pulled out a piece of paper and placed it on the scales, only to see that they quickly became weighed down as if a large stone had been placed on top of them. Both the customer and the store were taken aback by this peculiar sight.

The woman continued to stand in the same spot, adding more and more food to the weighing scales. The shopkeeper was startled by what she saw.

Nothing would fit, the owner realized as he carefully looked at the paper. She was surprised to see a prayer that said: “O Lord, you know my needs, and I commit this to your care. ”.

The owner, touched by the woman’s faith and tenacity, agreed to give her everything on the scale. She must have felt relieved, grateful, and joyful as she left the store with her bag full of groceries thanks to some straightforward but effective words of trust.
