George Clooney and Amal Clooney met sometime in the beginning of 2014. For George, it was essentially love at first sight. He was aware that the most famous bachelor in Hollywood would soon be gone. The couple has now been happily married for almost ten years, even though Amal took a little longer to realize that George was the one for her. Unfortunately, Amal has received harsh criticism online regarding her appearance rather than her career or any of her credentials. The human rights attorney, in spite of everything, manages everything with dignity and grace.
Amal Clooney Responds to Criticism Gracefully.
Since it first began in 2014, everyone has been following the love story of George and Amal Clooney. Amal had been a successful international human rights attorney for several years by the time they got engaged in April of 2014. Julian Assange and Mohamed Nasheed, the former president of the Maldives, were among her clients. In addition, she has worked with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. Yulia Tymoshenko, the former Ukrainian prime minister, was represented by her in court, garnering national attention. She is undoubtedly a strong, intelligent woman.
Of course, having a celebrity connection puts you in a different kind of spotlight than you would otherwise have as a prominent attorney. And while George Clooney is undoubtedly accustomed to being in the spotlight, Amal is not. It makes sense that she might feel uneasy being in the spotlight and having to deal with the attention that comes with getting married to one of Hollywood’s most well-known actors. She doesn’t let it show though; instead, she takes criticism in stride.

The Criticism Is Never-Ending.
Amal has had great success as a lawyer. She is also incredibly beautiful, funny, caring, a great mother, and has a great sense of style, as her husband is quick to point out whenever he gets the chance. The couple has come under scrutiny, and not just from the media, because they are married to George. Since she joined the most well-known couple in Hollywood, Amal has experienced some sexism.
On Twitter and other platforms, she is still being harassed by online trolls. 2015 saw a Twitter user respond to an Elle magazine article titled “54 Times Amal Clooney Looked Just Stunning” with the following statement: “She’s lovely but she has sticky icky skinny legs,ugly shapeless sticks.”. Another user said, “I am completely baffled at the fact that when George Clooney finally decides to settle down he picks Amal Clooney who looks like an ugly man,” on another occasion. (1), (2), and (3) George, her husband, had nothing to add to any of this other than the fact that he is still, almost ten years later, continually amazed by his wife and continues to fall more and more in love with her. According to him, she is the ideal life partner and mother for his children. The man obviously disapproves of those who dislike Amal.

There is sexism everywhere.
She has experienced sexism from the press regarding her career in addition to online trolls criticizing her appearance, among other things. Despite her impressive background, the press frequently makes an effort to harm her career by referring to her as “an actor’s wife” rather than the renowned human rights attorney that she is. They frequently show more interest in her attire than in her work. The media only seem to care about what she wore and how they thought she looked in that outfit, whether she is at an event or in court defending a client. In response, she says:.
“I believe that all I can do is make an effort to draw attention to what matters. That will undoubtedly be useful to some clients. There isn’t much I can do if I’m at a work event and the coverage is dominated by unrelated topics. Since I have no control over it, my strategy is to simply move on with my life and work in the hopes that attitudes will change. ” (4).

Amal claims she could not be happier with her marriage to George and their co-parenting of two children.
“Marriage has been fantastic. We have a home full of love and laughter, and my husband is a partner who is incredibly inspiring and supportive, she says. It is more of a joy than I could have ever imagined. Being a mother and having a great love in my life make me feel balanced, and I count myself extremely lucky. “.
Amal seems to have experienced a lot since marrying into Hollywood aristocracy. She works hard to balance being a hands-on mother, a supportive partner, and managing a demanding and occasionally dangerous career.
