Following her legal drama involving actor Johnny Depp, Amber Heard has been vacationing in Spain to unwind.
And Heard has found a safe place to stay outside of American territory. Heard is in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, with her 1-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige Heard. Heard and her daughter is staying with Bianca Butti, a Hollywood writer, producer, and cinematographer who prefers to reside outside American territory in Spain.
After winning the slander lawsuit a few months ago, Depp has been on many trips. To live alone with her friend, Heard has been moving to Spain. She has tried to focus on her infant and live free of Depp’s strong influence by avoiding the spotlight since the trial.
Right now, Heard’s financial situation is a little precarious. Due to the jury’s verdict in Heard’s favor, who received $8.3 million, Heard must pay Depp. Even so, she is currently appealing the case in the hopes that the ruling will significantly reduce or eliminate the potential debt.
It may be difficult for Heard to avoid paying the $8.3 million fine for losing the defamation case against Johnny Depp. One court has already denied her appeal request. Heard had asked for a mistrial to be declared in the case and for the trial to be rerun on live television in front of an audience.
Heard filed the motion to appeal on July 1st, 2022. The defense team for Heard claimed that the jurors’ appeal request was inconsistent. They kept enough distance between those asked to serve on the jury and those who took part in the trial for the decision to be reversed, which is against Heard, to remain.
Heard appears to be licking her wounds in Spain and not doing much. Instead, she is relaxing and spending time with her young daughter, Oonagh Paige Heard, in the country that borders the Mediterranean Sea. She is also enjoying herself with her friend Butti, who has directed several films.
Heard’s most recent Hollywood roles were in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and In the Fire, which has finished filming and is now in post-production.
Her ex-husband Johnny Depp is currently still enjoying considerable success in Hollywood. He will play the lead role in the upcoming La Favorite Netflix film.
A fresh Pirates of the Caribbean film is also in development. He will appear in Fantastic Beasts 3 when it is released. Without one another, Heard and Depp seem to be able to get along just fine. Depp, however, appears to be on a roll now that he’s won the legal battle.
