The Swedish musician and songwriter Bjorn Ulvaeus is most known for being a part of the ABBA ensemble. After ABBA split up, Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson carried on making music together, and they are still active today.

During their 40-year marriage, Bjorn and his second wife, Lena Kallersjo, amassed a large fortune. However, the couple split up earlier this year. What transpired between Lena and Bjorn Ulvaeus, then? How did they split their large wealth, too? Here is what he is currently doing.

Bjorn Ulvaeus was born in Gothenburg, Sweden, on April 25, 1945. When he was six years old, his family moved to Vastervik, a small village. Bjorn felt that in his early years, he wasn’t as well-liked as he wanted to be. The little boy loved his mother, and Bjorn liked his mother. Bjorn liked his father even though they weren’t as close.

Ulvaeus’ musical DNA is thought to have come from his musically gifted father. Bjorn got his first guitar when he was young and started playing. His natural musical skill was quickly acknowledged by others around him, and he immediately became obsessed with skiffle and rock ‘n’ roll.

At the beginning of the 1960s, he became a member of the folk group West Bay Singers. Publisher and songwriter Stig Anderson and his colleague Bengt Bernhag first learned about the ensemble in 1963 after they entered it in a Swedish radio talent contest. After changing their name to the Hootenanny Singers, the group went on tour in Sweden in 1964, performing on conventional park stages.

Two years after his initial surge in popularity, Bjorn Ulvaeus was still performing throughout Sweden. He met The Hep Stars member Benny Andersson in the little hamlet of Falkoping during one of these visits.

They made the decision to write all of their songs together going ahead. They later worked together to create some of the most recognizable pop tunes of the 20th century.

The tremendously talented musicians who made up ABBA contributed to the development of music. Benny and Bjorn got along well and immediately began writing tunes together. In 1970, they released Isn’t It Easy To Say as the lead single from their self-titled debut album.

The two were introduced to the record’s backing singers, Agnetha Faltskog and Anne-Frid Lyngstad, two highly talented singers. In addition to Bjorn and Agnetha’s romance beginning to form, Benny’s love for Anni-Frid had also developed within the group.

Bjorn Ulvaeus, Agnetha Faltskog, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, four immensely talented musicians, began cooperating after the release of Lycka in 1972.

They recorded the song “People Need Love.” In Sweden, it had a marginally better outcome. The group made the decision to compete in Melodifestivalen, the Swedish equivalent of the Eurovision Song Contest. They did so with their song Ring, Ring, and they finished third overall.

Ring, Ring experienced economic success in numerous European countries, which aided the band’s rise to fame and eventual victory at the Melodifestivalen competition.

The following year, they made the decision to compete in Eurovision with a brand-new song titled Waterloo, becoming the first group to win the competition. ABBA was created.

Early this year, Bjorn and Lena made their divorce public. Due to the success of ABBA and his other businesses, Bjorn has a net worth of approximately $300 million.

The deal was revealed to the media after their divorce. Bjorn and Lena signed a post-nuptial agreement in 2013 that outlined how their “matrimonial property” would be split equally in the event of a divorce.

It’s important to keep in mind that everyone involved in a divorce should be satisfied with the outcome. According to the terms of their contract, Bjorn and Lena’s joint account must always have a minimum balance of $20 million in order to receive an equal distribution.

The agreement also requires the parties to divide all personal property, household items, works of art, and vehicles. Nobody wants to get divorced, but ultimately what matters is that both parties are satisfied with the result. Lena and Bjorn Ulvaeus have my best wishes for the future.
