Fans shouldn’t get accustomed to seeing Cameron Diaz on screen again despite her self-imposed hiatus from acting. Apparently, after finishing the upcoming Netflix movie Back in Action with Jamie Foxx, the Hollywood A-lister will officially stop acting.

Diaz is among the highest-paid actors in Hollywood history; her movies have collectively brought in $3 billion at the US box office, ranking her as the fifth-highest-grossing actor of all time. Additionally, she was nominated for four Golden Globes. But after starring in three movies in 2014, the actress stepped away from the spotlight, saying she wanted to concentrate on other aspects of her life.

“You’re there 12 hours a day for months on end. You have no time for anything else. And I realized I handed off parts of my life to all these other people, and they took it. And I had to basically take it back and take responsibility for my life. ”.

As per reports, Foxx was the driving forced behind Diaz’s return, though the latest speculation insists that her comeback will be a one and done type of affair. “These back-to-back 10-hour workdays have been a lot on her and she hates being away from Raddix,” a source close to Diaz is said to have told the Daily Mail on Monday.

Back in Action, an upcoming action-comedy flick, is set to release on Netflix sometime in 2024. The film has reportedly been plagued with trouble that includes Foxx allegedly throwing a tantrum on set leading to him firing a producer, two directors, and his driver. A source close to Diaz, though, claimed that Foxx’s “meltdown” had no impact on her decision to re-retire from acting once her current responsibilities are concluded.
