One of the few performances that actually gets the blood pumping is the exceptional rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner.

Ask anyone who witnessed Jackson Dean Nicholson’s senior season as a defensive end at Arundel High School in Maryland.

We are not referring to his performance during the game; rather, we are referring to the manner in which he sang the national anthem prior to it. Over the years, it wowed thousands of online and local viewers.

When Nicholson realized that no one else could sing the national anthem before his school’s game, he was faced with a decision, according to sources. He could have, of course, let the school play a tape over the speakers or let the audience sing the song.

In any case, Nicholson is by all accounts made of an alternate material. Before the game, the high school teen went to the field by himself, carrying only an acoustic guitar and a microphone.

Because he immediately performed one of the best renditions of the American national anthem that we have ever heard, it is not surprising that the video became a viral sensation that has resurfaced on multiple occasions.

Nicholson sings beautifully, and the fact that the video, which was first uploaded in 2018, is still striking and relevant today is evidence of that.

“I probably knew 90% of the people in those stands, and they didn’t know I was doing it until I pulled my guitar out,” Nicholson told the Baltimore Sun at the time, “It was awesome.”

The stunning performance is as follows:

Although Nicholson was dressed as a senior defensive end for his five minutes of fame, music is his primary passion. He has been writing songs and performing them since he was a freshman, and just before he went viral, he was working on his album.

Jackson Dean was a good choice for his stage name because Jack Nicholson is already a pretty well-known actor.

In regards to his football career, Jackson stated in 2018: After this year, I’ll be finished. I only need to be enrolled for this semester because I will have completed all of my credits by January. I received a waiver from my principal, and she supports my actions.

“I’ll give it a shot.”

Jackson, I wish you success!

Jackson’s presentation blows us away, and needs however many individuals as would be prudent to watch it.
